I was traveling with a four year old, so from that perspective I can say the following: By the reception there’s a playroom for 0-4 year olds (with two comfy chairs for the adults!) which was highly appreciated. There was also an activity room a few floors down for older kids (ping pong table etc). The indoor pool was great! The spa had a quiet section that was separate from the pool, I really liked this as it made me comfortable bringing my kid to the pool without being a nuisance to others. Great breakfast for both kids and adults! The restaurant also had a decent kids menu for dinner. Great outdoor area to let your kids run around (also with mini golf). Really nice and helpful staff.

Traveling as a family of four (2 adults 2 kids 9&10) we were thankful for the family room which was HUGE... The biggest room on our whole two week trip around Norway! Breakfast was very good and seemed to be the standard Scandic brand breakfast after staying at several. The hotel felt a little dated but if you look up it's history there's a lot there and I'm glad they kept some of that history there. There is some renovation work being done currently. Also I appreciated the EV chargers on site! It was a nice little 10 minute walk over to the Olympic village on a nice path with my kids. Would recommend for an overnight or several nights!

We have had a lovely Romjul time in Scandic Lillehammer Hotel. The weather was good, we went for skiing, enjoyed swimming pool in the morning and nice restaurants in Lillehammer center in the evening. We also did enjoy all these coffee time snacks available in the lobby of the hotel as well as delicious and abundant breakfasts. Reception's employees always smiling, always helpful. The hotel was very spacious and there was always some nice, cozy place available to have a coffee or drink with friends we spend this time with in Lillehammer. I also need to mention very spacious and free parking area by the hotel available for our car we came by.

We did like the hotel. It was spacious and full of guests but quite quiet while in our room. One was on a kind of hotel's outskirts but we didn't mind it. We had some extra walk each day going to and from breakfast :) We also enjoyed New Year Eve with some extra live music played on the scene and hotel fireworks at midnight. We haven't joined a special dinner organized by hotel but for interested it was available for additional fee. We had a great time though!

Anna

very large old fashioned hotel with great surroundings and everything you may need, rooms are large enough, it is warm enough, there is well equipped gym, a swimming pool and a sauna, very easy to get to the cross country tracks all around the hotel, close to the city center and the train station, you can walk all around
